About Third Party Sources

The Moleculix library is using a fair amount of ThirdParty source code libraries, each one distributed under its own license.

  • VTK – The Visualization ToolKit
    The Visualization Toolkit (VTK) is an open-source, freely available software system for 3D computer graphics, image processing and visualization. Copyright (c) 1993-2008 Ken Martin, Will Schroeder, Bill Lorensen BSD License

  • SQLite
    SQLite is a software library that implements a self-contained, serverless, zero-configuration, transactional SQL database engine. SQLite is the most widely deployed SQL database engine in the world. The source code for SQLite is in the public domain.

  • Poco – C++ libraries.
    Modern, powerful open source C++ class libraries and frameworks for building network- and internet-based applications that run on desktop, server, mobile and embedded systems. The POCO C++ Libraries are open source software, licensed under the Boost Software License 1.0. A very liberal license that encourages both commercial and non-commercial use.

  • libcURL- the multiprotocol file transfer library
    libcurl is most probably the most portable, most powerful and most often used C-based multi-platform file transfer library on this planet – be it open source or commercial.
    libcurl are true Open Source/Free Software and meet all definitions as such. It means that you are free to modify and redistribute all contents of the curl distributed archives. You may also freely use curl and libcurl in your commercial projects. libcurl are licensed under a MIT/X derivate license.
